England amass 592 with Bairstow unbeaten on 99

England piled up a massive 592 runs in their first innings on the third day of the fourth Ashes Test match against Australia, which continued at Old Trafford in Manchester yesterday.

After the entire top order had done the bulk of the scoring, wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow joined the party as he hammered an unbeaten 99 from just 81 balls with the help of four sixes and 10 boundaries.

England also took a huge first innings lead of 275 runs while Mitchell Starc (2/137), Josh Hazlewood (5/126) and Cameron Green (2/64) shared the wickets for Australia.
