Estate bungalow broken into, gun with ammo taken

The Ayagama Police had received a complaint on Tuesday (14) that the estate bungalow located at Dummalahenawatte Ayagama had been broken into and a licensed 12-bore ammunition gun had been stolen along with two ammunitions.

The estate manager had complained to the Police that the firearm is worth Rs. 50,000.

During the investigations it was revealed that the theft had taken place on Tuesday between 6.45 a.m. and 12.00 noon.
