ETF award scholarships to Grade 5 passed students

Awarding scholarships to reward the children of ETF members who had excelled in the Grade 5 scholarship examination commences.

 

The Chairman of the Employees’ Trust Fund Board Sriyan de Silva Wijeyeratne presented a cheque worth Rs. 89,820,000 to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today at the Temple Trees.

 

The Prime Minister immediately handed over the cheque to People’s Bank Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse .

 

Under the first phase, Scholarship will be awarded to 6000 children of the members of Employees Trust Fund who have passed the year 05 Scholarship Examination 2020.

 

Scholarships of Rs. 15,000 per 9,000 children of Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF) members who pass the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination is held annually.
