Even exchanges at Bangladesh – SL Emerging match

Bangladesh Emerging Team showcased formidable bowling, causing trouble for the Sri Lanka Emerging Team. At the end of the third day’s play, Sri Lanka found themselves trailing by 32 runs, reaching a score of 219/7 In the ongoing second Unofficial Test in Dambulla.

Starting the day at 81/3, Sri Lanka Emerging faced a tough challenge as they lost five wickets for 105 runs. Overnight batters Ashan Wickramasinghe and captain Sonal Dinusha fell in quick succession.

However, the home team displayed resilience in their innings. Chamindu Wickramasinghe and Pavan Ratnayake worked together, mending the innings with a 55-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Ratnayake then contributed an additional 43 runs with Kalhara Senaratne for the seventh wicket.

At the end of the day’s play, Pavan Ratnayake remained unbeaten on 44, with the hero of bowling, Chamika Gunasekara, standing at 8 not out. The teams will enter the final day of the match today.
