Evertop Legend Team limited over cricket champs

Evertop Legends Team, Addalaichenai beat Evertop Hero’s Team, Addalaichenai by five wickets in the final to emerge champions of the Evertop Premier League-2021 limited over cricket tournament conducted by Evertop Sports Club, Addalaichenai at the Zahra Vidyalaya Play Grounds, Thaikanagar in Addalaichenai recently.

Addalaichenai Evertop Sports Club Tournament President M.A.Riyath organized the tournament to mark the 25th anniversary of the club while Evertop Legend, Evertop Hero’s, Evertop Champion and Evertop Kings Teams took part.

Evertop Hero’s Team won the toss and bat first, scored 103 runs in their allocated 10 overs for loss of 8 wickets. In reply Evertop Legend Team, scored 104 runs in the 9.5 overs, losing 5 wickets.

Man of the Series was won by Amzoor of Evertop Legend Team. Firnas and Rislath were adjudged the Man of the match and the best batsman to receive awards.

Winners were awarded Trophy and cash prize by the Chief Guest the Addalaichenai Pradeshiya Sabha Member and Evertop Sports Club President A.L.Ajmal and the runner-up Evertop Heros Team was awarded trophy and cash prize by the Evertop SC Treasurer A.M.Riyath.

Evertop SC Secretary U.L.Sawjan, Evertop Sports Club officials and many others graced the occasion.
