Education authorities will suspend the principal who wrote answers to the second question paper of the examination for a student appearing for the Scholarship Examination held last Sunday (15) in an examination centre in the Nikaweratiya examination zone. The Chief Examiner and the assistant examiner involved in the incident and the observer who witnessed the incident were called to the Examination Department and an investigation was launched with the intervention of the Examinations Commissioner, where the assistant examiner did not specifically disclose to whom these answers were written.
Although none of the students appearing for the exam were harmed due to this incident, the assistant principal has accepted the mistake.
