Executive Presidency should be abolished – Tilvin Silva

JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva said that the struggle to abolish the Executive Presidency has been there since its inception. He said the JVP is in agreement to abolish the Executive Presidency as there are a number of problems associated with it. He was speaking to the media at the JVP office in Battaramulla.

He also said that a peaceful solution should be found to the Israel–Hamas conflict, at the earliest.
