Exterminator’s debuts trading on CSE

The shares of Exterminators Limited commenced trading on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on March 30. The shares have been listed on the Empower Board of the CSE under the “2022 – Commercial and Professional Services” sector and the occasion was marked with a special Bell Ringing Ceremony.

CSE CRO Renuke Wijayawardhane, congratulated Exterminators on its initiative to go public. “Listing on the CSE is a very important milestone for any corporate in the country. Exterminators Limited can be extremely happy and proud that you all have achieved this milestone, within a relatively short period. Facilitating capital formation is one of our main objectives. We at CSE encourage corporates that are of different sizes, coming from diverse sectors and business models to raise capital through the CSE. We have been making our listing regime flexible to facilitate new listings over the past few years by changing our rules on listing criteria, the process, the timelines, and disclosure requirements.” Commenting on the company’s progress, Wijayawardhane added, “Exterminators Limited is one of the leading companies in this field.
