Female graduate (31) bled to death from stabbings

The postmortem examination of a graduate agricultural assistant officer (31) revealed that she died due to excessive bleeding from being stabbed in her eyes and having her throat slit, by her lover at a house in Homagama.

According to Judicial Medical Officer of Homagama Hospital, Dr Dhammi Lewis Hewa, the deceased had not been molested or raped.

The deceased was a resident of Ampitiya in the Eheliyagoda area. The assassin is is also an agricultural assistant. Police have found the knife used in the murder.
