Fine all-round performance by Sadil Dias

S.D.S Jayasinghe Vidyalaya Dehiwala beat St.Thomas College Kotte by two runs on first innings in their inter school under 15 division one tournament match played at Kotte.

Batting first visitors scored 151 runs with Sadil Dias claiming 5 for 27 and in reply homesters were all out for 149 runs with Sadil Dias scoring 48 runs and in their second essay Dehiwala lads were 136 for 6 at stumps with Anjana Imesh scoring 51 runs.

First innings win for Sastralaya

In another game in the same age and same group Ananda Sastralaya beat Siri Piyarathne, Padukka by 34 runs on first innings when the two teams met at Kotte.

Taking the first lease Sastralians collected 118 runs and in reply visitors were all out for 84 runs with Chatur Amar claiming 4 for 5 runs. In their second essay Kotte lads declared at 128 for 3 with Teekshana Udara scoring 43 runs and set to make 163 runs for an outright victory visitors were 106 for 4 with Tharusha Liyanage scoring 69 runs at stumps.
