Fire at Jampettah Street store

A fire had broken out in a vehicle spare parts store in Jampettah Street in Colombo. The fire caused damage to the adjacent buildings including houses yesterday.

However, the Fire Brigade along with the support of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) fire brigade extinguished the flames.

Police have commenced an investigation to reveal the cause of the fire. The storage premises was almost completely destroyed by the fire.
