Fire breaks out at hardware shop in Armour Street
A fire broke out in a hardware and home appliances shop at Armour Street, Colombo yesterday morning. Most of the items which were stored in the shop were destroyed, however no injuries were reported. The Colombo Fire Brigade took steps to extinguish the fire before it spread to other buildings.
The shop was closed at the time of the incident. Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident. Picture by Dushyantha Mayadunne
