Five thousand scholarships for children in Badulla District

Under the Bodu Udana programme, a concept of the Dam Saviya International Foundation Chairman B.T. Gunathilaka, steps have been take to provide 5,000 educational scholarships to schoolchildren in the Badulla district.

Under the programme, scholarships were given to 600 schoolchildren of the Moneragala and Ridimaliyadda Education Divisions recently during a ceremony in Moneragala.

Dam Saviya International Foundation Director General and Board of Directors and Mahiyangana Zone Education Directors, principals, teachers and parents of scholarship recipient children participated.
