Flood waters receding gradually in Batticaloa

Under the Sino-Sri Lanka goodwill agreements measures to uplift the livelihood standards in the Eastern and Northern Provinces was undertaken recently.

Two large trees at Batticaloa Gandhi Park and Cheliyan Children Park each crashed down injuring an individual who had been hospitalised yesterday (28).

Batticaloa Municipal Council is cleaning the Roads after the recession of the flood waters.
