Follow multilateral Foreign Policy – Eran

Although Sri Lanka is a small country, international events can affect our economy, security, and lifestyle, so the government should follow a multilateral foreign policy, SJB MP Eran Wickremaratne said.

“Today, national security is not only a military subject but also a political and economic subject. Sri Lanka should make sure to avoid military alliances or military provocations” he said addressing the media at the opposition leader’s office. “We should have a foreign policy to maintain the Indian Ocean as a peaceful region that is not a threat to any country’s security,” he added.
