Foreign agenda’s surfacing in a planned manner again – Prelate

Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya Anunayaka and Peradeniya Gatambe Rajopavanaramodhapathi Ven. Kappitiyagoda Siriwimala Thera said that there is a need for a process to inform Western countries about the step motherly treatment given by Human Rights Organisations towards Sri Lanka.Making a special statement to the media,the Thera said:”Foreign intervention in Sri Lanka is constantly taking place on the basis of various topics.

It manifests itself in various forms. Today, foreign agendas are being implemented again in a planned manner.Channel 4 is an organisation that has a special interest in Sri Lanka. Why is it making such unnatural relationship tendencies about Sri Lanka? We should think deeply whether they engaged in a clear process of creating international influence on Sri Lanka by producing a fake video programme during the last war, and whether they are once again trying to achieve their previously unachievable ambitions.

As the whole world knows, the Easter attack is an extremist and fundamentalist act that threatens the entire world community. Because of that, many countries in the world directed their intelligence agencies and conducted many investigations regarding that incident. It is doubtful that a normal media organisation like Channel 4 would make this type of a disclosure in such a background. It is our belief that if our detective departments, relevant agencies and media departments do not carry out proper investigations, there will always be opportunities for such conspiracies.

“It is utterly humorous to point out that such a Muslim extremist group made plans with the sacrifice of their lives to elect a ruler from the overwhelming majority of Sinhala Buddhist votes. It is the responsibility of all intelligent people to logically inquire whether a Sinhala Buddhist who is seen as an arch enemy will be brought to power to rule the country by these extremist groups by sacrificing their lives. A number of cases have been tried and decided in the Sri Lankan judicial system and more cases are pending. Some who are not satisfied saying that none of these findings have revealed the truth have become a huge boost to those Diaspora conspirators,”the Thera said.
