Foreign Ministry seeks public help to identify Sri Lankan woman in Lebanon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a woman believed to be of Sri Lankan origin and currently residing in Lebanon.

In a public notice, the ministry said the woman is reportedly known as “Rahma,” but her identity and family details have not yet been confirmed.

Information can be provided to the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism at its office on the 16th Floor of Suhurupaya, Battaramulla.

The ministry said members of the public may also contact the division via telephone on +94 11 227 5525 or by email at consular@mfa.gov.lk.

Authorities assured that all information received in connection with the inquiry will be treated with strict confidentiality. (Newswire)
