Former INSSSL Director Asanka Abeygunasekara arrested at BIA

Former Director of the Institute of National Strategic Studies of Sri Lanka (INSSSL), Asanga Abeygunasekara, has been arrested this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

He was arrested at the arrival terminal following the issuing of an arrest warrant by the Inland Revenue Department related to a case against him.

He is the son of former Parliamentarian Ossie Abeygunasekera.
