Former Minister Rohitha Bogollagama remanded until conclusion of corruption trial

Former Minister Rohitha Bogollagama has been remanded until the conclusion of the trial by the Colombo High Court in a corruption case filed by the Bribery Commission.

High Court Judge Rashantha Godawela issued the order after considering submissions made by the Bribery Commission.

Bogollagama was arrested by the Bribery Commission while an open warrant had been issued against him over his failure to appear before court on several occasions in connection with the case. (Newswire)
