Former Olympian Susanthika Jayasinghe’s mother passes away

Menik Pura Bebinona, beloved mother of Olympic medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe. passed away at the age of 81.

The remains of her are currently lay her house at No. 86/2 C, Second Lane, Devala Road, Makola, (North).

Bebinona, a loving mother of five daughters including Susanthika Jayasinghe.

The body will be brought to Susanthika Jayasinghe’s native village, Wanakapola Uduwaka on  Saturday (13). The religious rites will be performed and the last respect will be paid at the family cemetery later tomorrow.
