Four suspects further remanded over Booru Muna’s escape bid

Negombo Chief Magistrate Champika Rajapakse yesterday (11) further remanded four suspects who are in custody under the charges of aiding and abetting the escape of Korale Kankanamlage Ravindu Warnarangana alias Booru Muna from Katunayake Police Station until April 21. These suspects are accused of providing transport and refuge to the escaped criminal.

Suresh Pushpakumara, a resident of Katuwellegama, Sadaruwan Sanjeeva, a resident of Mansilgoda, Manjula Jayawardena, a resident of Minuwangoda and Anton Jayasanka Fernando, a resident of Kattuwa Pallansena, were thus further remanded.
