Free train service to Mihintale from A’pura for Poson from June 21 to 23

Arrangements have been made to provide free train services for the devotees travelling to Mihintale from Anuradhapura Railway Station from June 21 to 23, Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana said.

The Minister said that free transport services will be made available for the devotees from Anuradhapura railway station to Mahintale every Poson Full Moon day from this year.

The Minister made this announcement after inaugurating the train services on the Anuradhapura – Mihintale rail track which was reconstructed under the Indian Credit Line on June 17.
