Girl stuck between two walls freed in dramatic rescue
The Kalutara South Police said the Kalutara Municipal Council’s Fire Department has managed to rescue a seven-year-old girl trapped for about 30 minutes between two walls at the Kalutara Katukurunda Roman Catholic School.
The girl lives in the Kalutara Katukurunda Kalamulla area and is a second year student at the school.
After being informed by the Kalutara Disaster Management Assistant Director Col. Aravinda Amarasekara and the Kalutara South Police that a girl was trapped between two walls of the school, six fire fighters reached the scene in an emergency ambulance.
Chief Fire Officer O.V. I. P.
