Gishan takes bowling honours for Royal

The opener Tharindu Harshana made a fine knock of 96 with 11 fours in 199 balls as Thurstan made a better batting display in their second innings against Royal which ended in a draw at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Royal declared at 206 for 4 wickets (overnight) in their first innings while Thurstan bowled out for 114 in their first innings. Royalists were 83 for 2 wickets at close. Univdu Weerasekara made an unbeaten 50.

The leg spinner Gishan Balasooriya took bowling honors for Royal taking 5 for 44 .
