Gold price decreases

The price of gold in Sri Lanka has further decreased. According to the Gold Producer’s Association, the price of gold has decreased yesterday (16) as compared to the previous day (15).

Accordingly, by yesterday, a gold ounce is Rs. 612,767.00,24 carrots 1 gram – Rs.21, 620.00,24 carrots 8 grams (1 pound) – Rs.172, 950.00, 22 carrots 1 gram – Rs.19, 820.00, 22 carrots 8 grams (1 pound) – Rs.158, 550.00, 21 carrots 1 gram – Rs.18, 920.00 and 21 carats 8 grams (1 pound) – Rs.151, 350.00.
