Govt. plans tax relief for people – Prasanna

Urban Development and Housing Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says that the Government is currently discussing ways to provide tax relief to the people.

He emphasized that while the businessmen should keep their profits they also should provide relief to the people.

Speaking at an event in Katunayake, the Minister said that the Government is working to solve the existing practical problems related to the above.

He also said 12 months have passed since the crisis situation a year ago and the people today have been able to think positively about the future.
