Govt. subsidies are temporary solutions – NPP

school van fares as well as milk powder, vegetables, bread and many other essential items for daily living have gone up. Thus NPP mentions that the recent Allowances and Temporary Concessions to Public Corporations and Retired Officers/Employees are by no means sufficient to address these issues in the long run.

The NPP called on all responsible members of the government to take immediate and collective action to address these issues and alleviate the heavy burden on the people.

“At the very least, the Government must take steps to cut back on unnecessary spending, curb waste, and stop large-scale corruption by its own people,” NPP highlighted.
