Grade 5 Scholarship exam top marks: 193 in Sinhala, 188 in Tamil

The highest marks recorded at the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination were 193 in the Sinhala medium and 188 in the Tamil medium, the Commissioner General of Examinations said.

A student from Kurunegala secured the highest Sinhala-medium score of 193 marks.

Meanwhile, the highest mark in the Tamil medium, 188, was obtained by a student from Jaffna.

The results of the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination were released on Wednesday. (Newswire)
