Hamthan wins Bronze medal in All Island School Games

A.L.A.Hamthan of Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College won third place and secured a Bronze medal in the under -20 boys division 400m Hurdle event (54.2 Sec) in the All Island School Games-2023 conducted by the Education Ministry at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo recently.

Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College Principal A.H.Fous extended his congratulations to the winner Hamthan and his Coaches Haneefa Safeer Ali and Nusri Ahamed.

The Education Ministry officials were present at prize giving ceremony and distributed certificate to the bronze medal winner. Student A.L.A.Hamthan is a talented younger sportsman who has won dozens of certificates, medals, cups and trophies for sports events at Divisional, Zonal, District and Provincial Levels.

Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Director A.M.Rahmathullah commended the Assistant Education Director (Health and Physical Education) S.M.Jameel, In-Service Advisor (Health and Physical Education) M.H.Hammath, Akkaraipattu Muslim Central College Principal A.H.Fous, Deputy and Vice- principals, Teachers, SDEC and PPA officials and the school community who have contributed for this achievement.
