Harin abandoned Badulla, betrayed us – Vincent Dias

Former Deputy Minister Vincent Dias said that he invited former MP Harin Fernando to Badulla with a genuine intention of guiding him on a political path by winning the hearts of the people in the district.

Harin has not come to Badulla district for the past five years. “I don’t like to talk with him. He will learn a good lesson at the upcoming parliament election,” he said.He expressed these views at a public meeting held in Hali-Ela to support Samagi Jana Balawegaya candidate Susila Dias and other contestants.

The former Deputy Minister said former minister Harin Fernando put SJB leader Sajith Premadasa into difficulty by joining the United National Party. “He did everything against the SJB after joining with UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe,” Dias said. He believed that he would not have experienced this fate, had his father been present. “Harin behaved foolishly and lost both Wattala and Badulla after his father’s passing away.
