Hasaranga breaks into top-10 in T20 Rankings

Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has entered the top-10 of the ICC Men’s T20I All-Rounder Rankings for the first time, climbing to number eight.

Hasaranga has achieved his career-best eighth place in the latest ICC Men’s T20I all-rounder ranking thanks to his all-round performances shown in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The 24-year-old stroked a match-winning knock of 71 runs off 47 balls against Ireland in the first round of the ICC T20 World Cup guiding Sri Lanka to a massive victory.

He has been impressive with the ball as usual, picking up six wickets in four matches so far and placed among the top five wicket-takers of the competition. (Agencies)
