Heartfulness Ride from Nepal to Sri Lanka in January
Three countries Sri Lanka,India and Nepal have got together to develop peace , encourage youth affairs and promote tourism when they organise Heartfulness Ride – (Trilateral Bike Expedition ) which will be conducted in January 2024.
The Bike ride will begin from Nepal Lumbini) through India covering most religious places Gorkpur, Kusinara ,Saranath, Weaishali, Nalanda, Buddhagaya, Rajgiri, Calcutta, Karakorum, Balashore, Ratnagiri, Odissa, Udayagiri, Vishakapatnam, Machlipatnam and Chennai and then move to Sri Lanka from Jaffna, Mihintale, Anuradhapura, Matale, Kandy Mahiyangana, Ella, Kataragama, Matara, Galle towards Kelaniya and end in Colombo with.Sri Lanka and Indian Navy expected to give their support to make it a success.
The 15 riders representing three forces will take part in this Heartfulness Ride while 100 young men and women will join these riders on Sri Lanka tour.
State Minister of Sports Rohana Dissanayake said this motor bike riders tour from Nepal to India and Sri Lanka always make good relationship between three countries while One Universe Organization will play a major role in organising this ride from Nepal to India and Sri Lanka under the theme of “The Lord Buddha Circuit”. The Indian Organization” Sarva Dharma Samvaad “and Nepal Organization Janakpur Round Table 33 while Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry of Sri Lanka is official State Partner.
Dr Shemal Fernando the Sports Director General pointed out ‘making peace and friendship through sports always brings successful results and three countries getting together through this bike riders tour give new experience during this hard period.
One Universe Organization Director Lawyer Piyal Dharshana Guruge is the convenor of this event while co-convenors Rahul Patil from Sarva Dharma Samvaad of India and Director of Janakpur Round Table 33 Ashis Junjungwala are taking great pains to make the Heartfulness Ride a success.
The signing of MoU on Heartfulness Ride was held yesterday at the State Sports Minister ‘ s office. Rohana Dissanayake the State Minister of Sports and Sarva Dharma Samvaad Convener Rahul Patil and One Universe Organization Director Lawyer Piyal Dharshana Guruge exchanged the MoU for the success of this Heartfulness Ride among the three countries Sri Lanka, Nepal and India.
