At the Colombo Tea Auctions, an invoice of BOPF grade from Hidellana Tea Factory, Ratnapura secured and All Time Colombo Tea Auction Record price of Rs. 3,250 per kg in the Low Grown Category.

This tea was purchased by M/S Jafferjee Brothers Ltd who is a leading Exporter of quality Ceylon Teas and was sold through the catalogue of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd. Hidellana Tea Factory is certified with CQC, ISO 22000:2018 and Rain Forest Alliance consistently produces some of the best Low Grown region Teas and, is amongst the best established marks on offer at the Colombo Tea Auctions.
