High Commission for Wellington soon

The government has decided to establish a High Commission in Wellington New Zealand in a bid to further bolster the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Cabinet of Ministers on Monday gave approval to a proposal made by Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabry, PC in this regard.

At present, Sri Lanka has only a Consulate in Wellington.
