Holy Cross emerge Under 19 Division Two Tier ‘A’ Champions

Holy Cross College Kalutara emerged champions posting a six-wicket win over Lyceum International School Wattala in the final of the Under 19 Inter School Division Two Tier ‘A’ Limited Overs Cricket tournament at BRC yesterday.

Holy Cross College Kalutara won the toss and elected to field first. Lyceum International School Wattala was bowled for 74 runs in 23.2 overs. Ryan Perera scored 15 runs. Pasindu Wimansa claimed 4 wickets for 16 runs and Sanuka Cheran claimed 2 wickets for 20 runs.

Holy Cross College Kalutara scored 75 runs and 4 wickets in 26.5 overs. Gayantha Nadeesha scored 26 runs. Dineth Bimsara and Mohammed Rifnas claimed 2 wickets each.
