House cook arrested after jam, condensed milk in bag

Welikada Police said that a cook from the Parliament canteen was arrested while leaving with jam and condensed milk by the Parliament Police officials.

While the suspect cook was riding his motorcycle work on August 3 evening, the police officers stopped the motorcycle at the main entrance of the Parliament and when they checked the bag he was carrying hanging on it, they found jam and a bottle of condensed milk in it and arrested the suspect.

It has been revealed in the Police investigation that the suspect parked the motorcycle in the parking lot and then hung the stolen parcel on the motorcycle in the afternoon of August 3.

The suspect was to be handed over to the Welikada Police.
