HRC to take decision on October 30

The Human Rights Commission (HRC) will meet on October 30 to take a decision regarding the alleged leak of some questions in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, its Commissioner Nimal Punchihewa said yesterday.

He said that the Human Rights Commission has also received the report of the investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Also, the Human Rights Commission had received complaints from a number of parties, including the parents of Grade 5 students, regarding the incident and accordingly the Commission had started an investigation.
