Human chain protest for Easter Sunday victims – Cardinal

Colombo Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith yesterday said the Church has organised a human chain protest seeking truth and justice for   the Easter Sunday victims on Friday. He was speaking at a Press Conference regarding the 4th Year Commemoration of the Easter Sunday Attack Victims yesterday.

He asked the public to line up on the roadside from at 8.30 a.m. next Friday starting from St. Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade to St. Sebastian’s Church in Katuwapitiya.

He urged the people to be silent and not to disturb motorists calling it a silent protest.

He also called on all Sri Lankans to sink their differences and support the Church’s quest for justice for the Easter Sunday victims.
