Human skull, bones found in garbage heap in Rambukkana

A human skull and two bones were found in a garbage heap near a lamp post  on Bodhirajarama Mawatha on the Rambukkana-Kegalle road yesterday (23).

The Rambukkana police say that the skull and bone parts were found in a bag thrown into the garbage heap. A passer-by saw these bone fragments and reported them to the police, and the police took these bone fragments into their custody.

The police say that the doctors have concluded that these bones are about 30 years old and they will report the facts to court and conduct an investigation.
