Human skull found in Biyagama stream

Sapugaskanda Police found a human skull yesterday (15) afternoon in a forest near the stream near the Galahitiyava bridge on the side road connecting the 13th post of Galahitiyawa and Biyagama New Kandy road.

Suspicions have been raised that this could be the skull of the 52-year-old woman from Mulleriyawa who was murdered recently. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder. The woman’s body was dismembered and her head and limbs had been removed.

The two suspects had carried her body parts and dumped them in the river.
