“I cannot build this country alone. I am not a magician. I don’t have the best brain in Asia. Therefore, a single person cannot build a country. If we are united, we will be able to build this  country, National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said. He said this while addressing a public meeting in Polonnaruwa on Saturday (30).

“I also have skills and also weak points. Therefore, everyone has skills and weak points. Only if we all come together will we be able to build the country. Accordingly, we should create a force that will build the country. That force is National People’s Power.

“If a country is poor, if the country’s law, health and education are broken, then the existing government is useless.

Therefore, we will make this country a rich country in a government of the National People’s Power. It is useless to make the country rich.

The people of the country should also be enriched. Therefore, we will turn this country into a rich country and a country with rich people,” he said.
