ICCSL-ACCA MoU to prepare students in Accounting and Finance

The Sri Lanka Branch of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC SL) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide better practical training to students studying in the field of Finance and Accounting in Sri Lanka, and to increase new educational opportunities.

The ICCSL and the ACCA have sought to establish a strategic partnership with the aim of improving co-curricular education and training in the field of Accountancy and Finance in Sri Lanka.

ICCSL President Shanil Fernando stated that this MoU will expand the global reach of the members of both organisations and promote professional development and educational advancement.

According to this agreement, ICCSL and ACCA will cooperate for Skills Development training programmes and both organisations will work together to promote ACCA’s training programmes, Fernando said.

Fernando added that they will also create new educational opportunities to better prepare students for careers in Accounting and Finance.
