‘ICE’ carrying SLFP candidate arrested

The Sapugaskanda Police yesterday arrested a candidate contesting for the Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha from the ticket of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), while in possession of 5.5grams of the ICE narcotic drug.

The suspect was arrested on the Makola-Rankethyaya Road on a tip-off received by the Police. The suspect is a resident of Makola.
