IMF agreement sends important message to world – Eran

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Eran Wickramaratne on Wednesday said that an important message will be sent to the world about the financial discipline of the country due to the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Addressing a press conference held on Wednesday (15) at the Opposition Leader’s office, Wickramaratne said, they have been advocating for many years for an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

However, it was missed and that is why the country has collapsed now. Now negotiations are held with the IMF. After that, it will be approved by the governing body of the IMF.
