India will support Sri Lanka with more investments said CEO, NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) Parameswaran Iyer who made the keynote address at the economic summit.
He said that these investments are mainly in the power sector, telecom, solar and wind power and also the Port sector where Adani of India invested over USD 650 million.
He also said that there should be more tourism between the two countries and more airlines and ferry services are needed for this.
He also recalled that India is one the largest FDI generators to Sri Lanka pledging over USD 2.26 billion.
India will keep on standing with Sri Lanka in the future not only in investments but in other areas too, he said.
