Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma was on Wednesday hailed by his fans as being “greatest of all time” for his sparkling century against Afganistan in New Delhi. on Wednesday During his imperious knock, Sharma broke several records as well. He hit fastest World Cup hundred by an Indian in 63 balls. In the 48-year history of ODI World Cup, Sharma is the only batsman to score seven hundreds and he achieved this feat in 19 innings.

On Wednesday, Rohit Sharma also scored the most sixes in international cricket at 554,surpassing West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle. Sharma the stylish opener created history in creating records of Most hundreds in World Cup,Most sixes in International cricket,Most sixes by an Indian in World Cup,Most runs in Powerplay for India in an ODI match.as well as fastest hundred by an Indian in World Cup history.( 100 from 63 balls) Record hitting Sharma always very friendly with his team mates as well as spectators and all Indians love him and as a leader he is very successful on the field as well as off the field.

Rohit Sharma the skipper said after Afganistan match win ,this win is more important to go forward and it gives confidence.

Winning back to back matches also very vital.There was big pressure from Afghan bowlers and we had to absorb that to adjust to the condition.We have batters who can bat freely .When we have all round players it’s always bonus to the side .In world cup you have to adjust to play different styles in different games .We also have to respond with different players . .We read every game while the pitch ,conditions and combination and all these areas are very vital added Rohit Sharma.

Actually in 2011 World Cup Sharma was dropped from the Indian team but 2023 World Cup he Becomes the player to have the most hundreds in the World Cup and is in terrific form.
