India’s richest woman surpasses net worth of software tycoon

Savitri Devi Jindal, India’s richest woman has surpassed the net worth of software magnate Azim Premji. Savitri Devi Jindal is the chairperson emeritus of JSW Steel, which has seen a major rise of around 87% over the last two years.

Now, Azim Premji occupies the sixth place in the top 10 richest tycoons in India and is ranked after Savitri Devi Jindal. While the lady in action is ruling the steel, cement, and infrastructure power. Now, the value of stakes held by Azim Premji in Wipro stands at around $16.5 billion as of Friday.

On the other hand, Azim Premji witnessed a 42% drop in his net worth, which occurred during the same period. Azim Premji was the third richest person in India, after Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
