Indonesian Ambassador pays courtesy call on CDS

Ambassador of Indonesia to Sri Lanka Dewi Gustina Tobing paid a courtesy visit to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil on Thursday (3). The cordial dialogue took place based on the advancement of Indonesia – Sri Lanka bilateral military relations, particularly in training. The discussion was also extended to take common maritime security related issues faced by both the island nations whilst assuring the highest concern. Prior to departure, the visiting Ambassador left her special remarks in the OCDS Visitors’ Book and mementoes also were exchanged marking the event.
