Inter-provincial travel ban imposed in Sri Lanka

Inter-provincial public transport will be stopped with effect from midnight today, announced the Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.

Those in the banking, Agriculture, apparel, tourism sectors and essential services will ONLY be permitted to travel Inter-province.

He also further said that, public will not be permitted to enter public places without the Vaccination card from September 15.
