Inuki and Melasa clinch under 16 doubles title

Inuki Jayaweera of Museaus College and Melasa Randini of Ave Maria Convent clinched the girls under 16 doubles championship at the HNB -SLTA clay court Tennis Championship which is now in progress at SLTA courts.

Inuki and Melasa defeated Senulya Wijayawardane and Binudi Wijayawardane in two straight sets 6-0, 6-4 at the final.

Meanwhile at the boys under 18 doubles final Jaithra de Seram of S. Thomas partnered by Kiran Viravanthanof British School Colombo beat Vichinthaya Nilaweera and Lisal Goonathileka in a three setter game 6/4, 5-7 and 6/2. (D.R)
